Never jump head first into anything, whether it’s business or launching a new product, without first conducting further research into the subject.  Inadequate research has been the downfall of many businesses, and you don’t want that to happen to you.

They are the lifeline of your business, so listen to the feedback that they give because this is going to help you take the necessary steps to improve in the future.

Change is inevitable, and nothing remains stagnant forever. This applies to virtually everything – The way a boss treats employees has to change to maximise employee satisfaction, the company’s marketing strategy has to change based on consumer behaviour, and more. If you’re going to be in business, you’re going to have to get used to change, learn to adapt and do not stay forever in comfort zones.

#6 Avoid Big Markets (First)

It can be tempting to go big immediately to make as much money as possible, but if you are new, don’t attempt to jump into huge markets right off the bat. Focus your efforts instead on starting small and offering something which is unique just your business.  Once you have built a solid foothold, you can slowly start to expand from there.
